​While our dive center Tarzan-Diving doesn`t offer accommodation, you can stay in one of the surrounded affordable homestays. We fully support local owned homestays. To avoid competition with local families we decided not to dive with guest, who are staying at a locally owned homestay with their own dive center. If you would like to dive with us, please make sure there is no dive center at your homestay.
Just contact Tarzan-Diving, so we can help you to find a lovely affordable homestay, close by. We offer pick-up within 3 km, price: 100.000 IDR per person. If you prefer to stay further out, or in any other homestay than mentioned: please organize the pick-up on your own. Your homestay will help you organizing the transfer.
We directly partner with Tau Yado and Papuani homestays, which are run by siblings Petrus and Nelce Wawiyai and their families. Both homestays are heartwarming places to stay, and are located directly beside Tarzan-Diving, Tau Yado to the left side and Papuani to the right.

Tau Yado Guest House
Tau Yado means "lagoon" in the local language. There is a beautiful lagoon, right in front of the long white beach of Tau Yado Guest House. ​Perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
Tau Yado Guest House offers beautiful wooden bungalows in traditional Papuan style, built by the local family themselves.
The homestay has three beach bungalows. There are plans for the build of more beautiful accommodation. Each bungalow comes with a king size bed with a mosquito net and a shelf. The terrace in the front, with a seating area and a hammock is perfect to relax and take in the beauty of the ocean view.
The homestay has a shared shower and toilet house in the back of the bungalows. The water, is pumped ground water of very good quality. Not salty at all.
Price is 400.000- 450.000 IDR per night per person included 3 meals.

Papuani Homestay
Papuani Homestay on Gam island is located just to the right of our dive centre. The guest house offers traditional, Papuan style bungalows situated on a beautiful stretch of white sand beach. Each bungalow has its own private verandah with a hammock, overlooking a turquoise, sandy lagoon, the perfect place for swimming and snorkelling on the colourful reef just outside.
Each bungalow has a double bed with mosquitto net, and a shelf for storage. Electricity is supplied in the evenings by a generator. Meals are served in Panuani's new, traditional style restaurant, found just behind the bungalows, where tea, coffee and water are available. The shared bathroom is also situated down a small sandy path at the back of the bungalows. The bathroom offers a western style toilet, and a refreshing scoop shower. Papuani is the perfect place for dog lovers, as we have 5 dogs here at Tarzan Diving, they are always on hand to greet the guests and welcome the dive boat! Price 450.000 IDR per person and nighgt included 3 meals water, tea and coffee.

Coconut Homestay
Coconut homestay on Gam Island is located right next door to our dive center.
Coconut homestay is as the name suggests, surrounded by coconut trees! Pretty, traditional rooms, hand built in the local style, overlook the sandy, blue lagoon, perfect for snorkeling.​
A sandy walkway lined with newly growing coconuts, leads along the back of the homestay. Here you can often spot sea eagles gliding overhead, or black, white (and the even rarer) blue cockatoo, searching for food in the trees.
Double and single beds are available.
A basic shared shower and toilet is situated just behind the rooms in a traditional wooden hut.
The panoramic ocean view here is fantastic, like a picture from a postcard! The perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of diving.

Yendebabo Homestay
Yendebabo Homestay set just along the white sand beach from our dive centre, offers three traditional bungalows with panoramic ocean views. The homestay is nestled at the far end of the bay and backs onto lush green jungle. There is a short jungle walk to a pretty viewpoint overlooking untouched mangroves and islands. Here birds of paradise, cockatoos, and even cuscus can occasionally be seen. Relax in your own hammock after a busy day, and as the sun goes down enjoy amazing sunsets and beautiful night skies! Wainay Homestay
Wainay Homestay is located on Gam Island just a short walk from our dive centre, along a path through the rainforest. A beautiful small homestay hidden in a little bay. Traditional wooden bungalows with a beautiful ocean view towards 5 islands. The homestay is run by Manu and his lovely family who serve delicious traditional papuan food.

Amfriwen Homestay
Amfriwen Homestay is a cute little homestay located on Friwen island next to the local village Friwen. Meet the local people in the village and see their traditional lifestyle. Beachfront bungalows with shared shower and toilets in the back. Mama Bunga cooks delicius tradional local food.
